RBG FIT CLUB is an international multimedia and lifestyle apparel brand, owned by husband and wife team Khnum and Afya Ibomu. RBG FIT CLUB is distinguished by a street smart approach to celebrating healthy living, with a mission to motivate and inspire holistic lifestyles in the language of the people.

After two decades of experience in community activism, entertainment, holistic health and entrepreneurship Khnum “Stic” Ibomu of the hip hop duo dead prez, founded RBG FIT CLUB in 2008 based on the 5 holistic principles:

Knowledge, Nutrition, Exercise, Restoration and Consistency.

RBG FIT CLUB products and services include apparel, books, courses, workshops and the record label division RBG FIT RECORDS, dedicated to establishing and cultivating the “fit hop” music genre.

Stic, is an internationally acclaimed hip hop artist, song writer and producer, author, activist and entrepreneur.  After his wife helped him heal from a bout with gout in his early twenties by converting him to a plant-based lifestyle, Stic found a renewed sense of purpose that changed the course of his life. He then studied martial arts for over ten years and today has come full circle as a passionate holistic health and fitness advocate. Stic is also a certified long distance Running Coach with The Road Runners Club of America.
Stic merged his passions for health, fitness and hip hop and created the groundbreaking “fit hop” album “The Workout” that debuted at #1 of iTunes Fitness charts. Stic has received the Black Men’s Holistic Health Award from the Ausar Auset Society as well as The Betty Shabazz Award for Social Justice at the Apollo Theatre. Stic enjoys family, fitness, reading, meditation and staying creative and productive. Afya Ibomu B.S, CHHC – President

Afya is a Holistic Nutritionist, the Author of several acclaimed books and has been living a plant-based lifestyle since 1990. Afya is certified in Holistic Health and Group Fitness Instruction and also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition. Her fourth book The Vegan Remix was named one of the best vegan cookbooks of the year by Vegetarian Times Magazine. Afya’s third book the Vegan Soul Food Guide to the Galaxy, was nominated for an African American Literary Award for cookbook of the year. She is also the author of the best selling Get Your Crochet On! pattern book series.

Afya is a celebrity Chef, Nutritionist and Crochet Designer working with hip hop artists such as Erykah Badu, Common and Talib Kweli. She currently conducts cooking demos and classes, teaches nutrition workshops and counsels fitness competitors. Afya is a yoga student, organic gardener and lives in Atlanta with her husband stic of dead prez, of 25 years, and their two sons’ Itwela and Nkosua.

RBG FIT CLUB and RBG FIT RECORDS is so happy to announce our partnership with national, plant-based lifestyle organization “Hip Hop is Green” & founder-Keith Tucker, to help officially induct HEALTH AND WELLNESS as THE 10TH ELEMENT OF HIP HOP!. Hip Hop is Green and RBG Fit Club will be presenting an official “10TH ELEMENT” document to the Smithsonian Museum & The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture.
